PolskiBus.com today (26 April 2012) unveiled its new luxury double deck coach fleet and launched a free at-seat refreshment service, offering passengers the opportunity to enjoy even higher quality, luxury inter-city travel at great value fares.

Customer service hosts will provide passengers with an at-seat service providing free hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice-cream.

The introduction of free refreshments coincides with the introduction of twenty state of the art luxury double deck coaches to the PolskiBus.com fleet. Each of the new 14.1 metre long vehicles boasts 89 luxurious, reclining red leather seats with 3 point safety belts in addition to air conditioning, Wi-Fi, in-seat electric charging points and toilet facilities.

They also feature some of the greenest engines in Europe with low carbon emissions, and are able to carry mobility impaired and wheel-chair passengers thanks to their low floors and easy access.

Sir Brian Souter, President of Souter Holdings Poland, said: “Instead of the stress and rising cost of travelling by car, we know our customers love our fast, convenient journey times, competitive low fares and stress-free journeys. They also love our free Wi-Fi and in-seat power points allowing them to relax or catch up on work while they travel.”

He added: “Introducing our new double deck coaches and free refreshment service was a logical next step as we look to reward our loyal customers and constantly improve the quality of our PolskiBus.com product.”

Refreshments will be available on selected Warsaw to Gdansk services, commencing 27 April 2012, and be rolled out across the whole Warsaw to Gdansk timetable in the next few weeks. The journey time between Warsaw and Gdansk is just 5 hours 45 minutes, with 15 departures a day and hourly frequency from both Warsaw and Gdansk.

Tickets are available for sale online now at www.polskibus.com.

PolskiBus.com operates fast, cheap and comfortable inter-city express coach services across Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. Fares start at just 1zl plus a 1zl booking fee, with no hidden luggage charges and free Wi-Fi included.

Roger Bowker, Chief Executive of Souter Holdings Poland commented: “PolskiBus.com has come so far since we launched the brand on the market 11 short months ago. We have carried over 700,000 passengers and now transport more than 100,000 people per month, operating 42 daily departures from Warsaw’s Wilanowska Bus Station alone and serving 22 destinations in Poland and abroad.”

Mr Bowker added: “We are delighted to continue the expansion of our business, investing in our product, network and fleet as we strive to offer innovative, high quality travel at great value fares.”

Travelling by coach also provides environmental benefits, lowering passengers’ carbon footprint and reducing traffic congestion. Each new fuel efficient PolskiBus.com double deck coach has the potential to replace 89 cars on the road.

Piotr Bezulski, Managing Director of Souter Holdings Poland added: “When we launched PolskiBus.com we wanted to provide our customers with another alternative to using their private cars, and persuade them that when they leave their car at home they can still enjoy a fast, convenient and comfortable journey, even over long distances.”

“Our passengers, whether they are commuting or travelling on business, for leisure or to visit friends and family, tell us they enjoy our professional and friendly service plus our great value fares.”
